MCR Manchester MEN 24th March 07 REVIEW

Firstly...

IT WAS ABSOLUTELY FUCKING AMAZING!!!!

Here is my account of it...

6:07: doors opened, and everyone streamed in. i just went and got a drink and made my way to my seats.

About 20 minutes before Thursday came on, my mate who was in standing, called me to get me to meet her outside my block. So i did. To find out that she wanted to swap tix as she wasnt feeling to well, and she had lost the others. So i was willing to help lol!

Thursday started, and i made my way down to the floor entrance, with my mates wristband hanging off, as it ripped when i tried to put it over my massive hands. i showed the steward the state it was in, and i said to him that it came off in the pit...how he fell for it i dont know!

Thursday played a great show, but during the most of their set i was near the back. i managed to navigate myself up to my mates Cam and Will, who were dancing in the middle of the pit O___o i was laughing my head off at them! The wallys.

In the gap between Thursday and MCR, was boring so i decided to go up to where i was supposed to be sat, and spoke to my mate for a while.

I then went and got a drink, and made my way back down to the floor. Some how, i managed to get even closer than i was before, during the Thursday set.

About 10 minutes later, the lights dimmed, and all you could hear was the even bleeping of a heart monitor, (and people screaming obviously lol). Then we saw a hospital bed being wheeled out by two Black Parade guys, with Gerard lying on it. He then started to sing, and slowly got off the bed, and staggered about a bit. Then the drums kicked in, and the curtains were pulled back, Gerard tore off his gown to reveal his Black Parade outfit, along with the rest of the band, all dressed in the same, perfect costumes.

They then rolled straight into Dead! which was pretty epic! The crowd really got going in that song. The pits were immense. And during the mass lalala sing song, the WHOLE of the arena sung along...it was just...incredible.

Then there was a bit of a pause from the music, and Gerard spoke to the crowd for about a minute. He then introduced This is How I Disappear. 'DO U LIKE TO DANCE MANCHESTER?!' Everybody screamed, and the band started to play. Strobe lighting goes fantastically with this song. And we all had a good rave during that song.

Then it was The Sharpest Lives. I was a bit disappointed when the crowd hardly reacted to this. Fantastic song though.

Then it was Welcome to The Black Parade. As soon as the first note was played on the keyboard, the roof lifted with the sound of kids screaming. You couldn't even hear Gerard, as his voice was drowned out by the sound of his adoring fans singing along to every word. Towards the ened of the song, confetti was shot out over the crowd...it was so dramatic!

Then it was I Don't Love You. There was a lovely sway in this song :) Mikey was really enjoying himself.

Then House Of Wolves. It started with Bob revolving around on the drum riser, whilst playing the opening drums to the song. Absolutely fantastic song.

Then Cancer. Gerard got his mic stand from the side, Frank changed guitars to an acoustic and sat down on the floor, Ray took mikey's bass, and Mikey grabbed his tamborine (FTW). Gerard's speech at the start of this song was so touching.

Then Mama. Absolutely amazing! In the main riff, the pit erupted! so many people fell down, it was so rough! Ray was really going for it!

Then Sleep. Again, i was disappointed with the crowd. Why didnt they even jump a little bit?! Was i the only one?!

Then Teenagers. Possibly the song of the night. During the verses, in the pit, we were all dancing, then as soon as the choruses kicked in, it erupted in to mass circle pit. INCREDIBLE

Then Disenchanted. 'One day you will wake up, and find the dream is dead' Gerard said just before Ray started the song on an acoustic guitar. Fabulous song. Reminds me of the old days, when they used to play 'Shut Up And Play'

Then Famous Last Words. I knew i would cry. EPIC song. The pyrotechnics were absolutely fantastic!

Then a 5 minute break. Blood was played. Everybody sung along. I managed to squeeze my way to the front-middle about 3 rows from the barrier.

Then the curtains opened for a second time, and they exploded into I'm Not OK. Fantastic. It really got the crowd going! Massive sing song.

Then after that, i think it was It's Not a Fashion Statement It's a Deathwish...but i'm not sure as i had got knocked out O___o but that was incredible.

Then i think it was cemetery drive. The only thing going through my head was Mikey falling over at that show in the US afew weeks ago.

Then i think it was The Ghost Of You. EVERYBODY had their lighters/cell phones out. I got fantastic pic of it all on my phone. Great song.

Then i think it was Give 'Em Hell Kid. I forgot how good Mikey is at bass! Great song.

Then it was Thank You For The Venom. I think, if i remember rightly, Frank stage-dived in this song. I don't remember the song, as he landed on my head, and i got knocked out again, but only for a second or two this time. I was like GET THE HELL OFF ME YOU SWEATY BASTARD! Then i realised it was him, and was like, WAIT. ITS FRANK....WTF?! Funny guy. I somehow managed to eat some of his hair O_____o. Oh and as he was climbing off the crowd, his guitar hit me in the face. Yes. He dived WITH his guitar. Silly boy.

Then it was You Know What They Do To Guys Like Us In Prison. Fantastic song as usual! I really went for it!!!

Then they ended the show with Helena. Perfect as usual. They have really done so well. I was emotionally overwhelmed in this song

The effort and imagination that must have gone into these shows is incredible. Full credit to MCR and the people who worked on the set. And WORM!!!! HE WINS AT LIFE!

I waited for a while after, but found out i had to go. So i never met any of them. I heard that Frank came out, but i dont know about the others.

Fantastic show. Possibly the best night of my life.

Funniest MCR interview ever lol

Its old but it ALWAYS brings the laughs.

Bobby: Okay, now onto to more unusual questions that I like to ask at all interviews. First off all, if you guys were stranded on a desert island, with no food and nothing to eat, which one of the band members would you eat to survive?

Frank: Wow. Oh man. It definitely wouldnâ�™t be Mikey, because heâ�™s got nothing. I donâ�™t know. I wouldnâ�™t eat Gerard or Bob because they are just great company, and I wouldnâ�™t eat Toro because heâ�™d probably be the one to figure out a way off the island. So Iâ�™d probably have to eat my own leg.

Bobby: If you were the member of the opposite sex for a day, or a week, or whoever long you wanted, what would you do and why?

Frank: Man, what would I doâ�¦? Iâ�™d probably get lower car insurance. I donâ�™t know, what would I doâ�¦ thatâ�™s a good question, Iâ�™ve never really thought about it.

Bobby: Yeah, not many people do.

Frank: Yeah, I donâ�™t know. Nothing is ringing a bell. Sorry. Iâ�™d probably just sit home and eat chocolate cake, thatâ�™s all I would do.

Bobby: Okay, hereâ�™s a question from my friend Tyson, heâ�™s wanted me to ask this at an interview for so long now. Rosie O'Donnell or Whoopi Goldberg. Who would you do?

Frank: Wowâ�¦ Christâ�¦ Man, thereâ�™s no like secret C choice?

Jacey: No happy medium.

Frank: Man. Could I at least give Whoopi Goldberg eyebrows?

Bobby: Yeah.

Frank: Okay, Whoopi Goldberg with eyebrows.

Bobby: Could you tell us something about the band or one of its members that not many people know about? Like a little quirk or something that do on the road.

Frank: Umm, okay, letâ�™s see. Iâ�™m trying to think of things that wonâ�™t embarrass anybody. One thing, just one?

Bobby: Well, how ever many you want to tell us.

Frank: Iâ�™ll give you one about everybody. Rayâ�™s never around. Ray will constantly be on his phone, playing a video game or playing guitar in the back lounge with earphones on. Like you will not see him, you do not see him at all. That kid is dedicated to technology completely. Bob is addicted to â�œ24â� â�“ the television show. Mikey will be broke at the age of thirty, but have every DVD, comic book, and video game known to man. Gerard, this is probably widely known, but I will assure you, Gerard is as close to genius as you could possibly get.

Frank is pure legend. ;)

Greatest Band on Earth

gah! i â™¥ them

My Chemical Romance is the greatest band out there today for saving lives every second, and we love them for that! we love them for there music and not how hot they are or because there famous! but we love them for who they are! they don't care about fame and money all they want to do is please there fans! cause they know we love them and they wouldn't be here today if it wasn't for us! And thats why all MCR fans have to stick together as a big MCR family! who cares what "crowd" you belong to! we all love each other because of our love for MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE!

10 Things You Shouldn't Do If You Meet MCR

This is quite old, as you can tell when it says, 'when gerard is drunk' and 'dont steal mikeys glasses'. its all a big joke so dont worry! lol. so yer, enjoy!

10 Things You Should'nt Do If You Meet MCR

1. When Gerard is drunk, you SHOULDN'T stand on the other side of moving traffic and yell "Come towards the light!"

2. You SHOULDN'T offer to play 'Find The Needle In The Haystack' - and use Ray's hair as the haystack.

3. You SHOULDN'T steal Bob's drumsticks, run up to the balcony, and throw them on him yelling, "The sky is falling!"

4. When Frankie is sleeping, you SHOULDN'T lay next to him- and then tell Gerard you and Frank are having an affair

5. When the guys are doing there makeup, you SHOULDN'T take Frank's red eyeliner, and blame it on poor innocent Ray

6. When Ray is asleep, you SHOULDN'T shave his head- then put the razor in Mikey's hands- and tape them fighting for blackmail

7. You SHOULDN'T prank call Gerard, pretending to be his doctor, and say him and Mikey aren't really related ::coughcoughcoughcough::

8. You SHOULDN'T drug all the boys of My Chem, and then convince them you are their sixth member

9. You SHOULDN'T write pansy on Frankie's forehead while he is sleeping, and then tell him it is a birthmark

10. You SHOULDN'T take Mikey's glasses, and than ask him "Did you see that?!"
